I do the same with State Farm, but I asked them to lower my deductible from
$500 to $250 and to increase my PIP and also to add towing.
As an old Jewish personal injury attorney once told me, PIP is the cheapest
and best insurance you can buy - get as much as you can afford.
They had no problem at all when I told them I'd most likely be driving it
5,000 miles this summer to the Midget 50th.
They also said they needed to adjust the value up after I painted it and put
the Bugeye front on.
I do not know if it is agreed value or not - sounds like I need to find out.
I told them I wanted it insured for $8000 and they said they needed to
submit that to underwriting - so does that mean anything?
Also they said my windshield is covered with a $100 deductible on my
comprehensive.
All this for about $100 per year? Nice!

Me too with my 64 Mini.... though a little more value. Same deal. No
hassles, but then, no claims, either.

I simply added my 73 Midget to my existing State Farm policy. Insured
as an "antique vehicle" with an "agreed value". NO limitations as to
mileage or usage except not to be used as a primary vehicle for
day-to-day use. My agent took a few pictures for their records and
and agreed the vehicle was valued at $6k with no requirement to have
the car appraised.

Cost me all of $42 every 6 months for full coverage.
