There is a stock measurement given in the Buckley's for your vehicle.
This is center-to-center across the top of the steering rack between the two

      I am placing a new steering rack on a 1959 bugeye and am  
converting the front brakes to disc.I noticed the the ends of the  
steering rack have long threaded pieces to screw the tie rods on.Is  
there a trick to adjusting the tie rods?
