I think the hydraulics from China show the lack of consistency across
manufacturers. I have an engine hoist made in China that started leaking after
a year, got a replacement cylinder from a different chinese manufacturer that
has worked well for a few years.

Mine died within a few weeks or months, so I asked for parts. Instead, they
sent me the entire pump mechanism, which has lasted several years and will
probably last indefinitely, as I do not use it for any heavy car.
