Hi Ron,

Glad to hear you are OK for the most part. I had a friend that spun  
his 3rd gen RX7 on a Michigan road not too long ago and hit a tree  
going backwards. He only survived 2 days. I took down a light pole on  
highway 101 in a Miata during a horrendous rain storm  a few years  
back. I almost missed it 'by that much", but had I hit it about 3 feet  
further back on the car, I don't think I'd be writing this email, Like  
you said, "stuff happens" and sometimes you are just along for the ride.

I hope you make a speedy recovery. Sounds like not so much for the  
Vette.
