This recalls an experience I had at the parts counter back in 74.
Guy comes in complaining that the Lucas condenser he just got was
not correct, in that they're supposed to be 22mf.
We were a Lucas warehouse and had thousands of them, and he had a
meter.........
an hour later he had found some that were "acceptable".
I learned something that day.... more about resistance than capacitance.
