I think the bugeye appeals to a broad range of people beyond car
enthusiasts.B It's non-threatening unlike a Cobra or a muscle car.B It's got
that whole "cute" thing going on that appeals to females.B Meanwhile, there's
still a bunch of car guys that remember it from their youth.B Ergo - picture
takers.

I have to say isn't it great when you wash the car and pick up your kid from
school and the line up of kids all are giving you the thumbs up and asking
what kind of car is it and then on the freeway home a car pulls up and starts
taking pictures of your car. Aint it great? I have had '65 Mustang Fastback,
Jaguar HE Convertible, BMW 3.0CS, Supercharged BMW M3, Pontiac Firebird 400
Convertible, Chevy Camaro Z28, Austin Healey 3000 and none of those cars have
been photographed while I was driving down the freeway nor has any of those
cars got the eye of so many people from ages 5-80. The bugeye will always
hold a place in automotive history!
