A friend of mine just had a nail bounce back off a steel strip.
Yes he was wearing a set of protective glasses.
The nail some how went straight through the lens in to his eye.
It went in through his eye and the tip hit the out side of his brain.
You could not see the nail from the out side or face side.
He thought at first that it was stopped by the glasses and he must have
plastic in his eye.
After a xray they said you have a piece of metal in your head.
They had to cut his scull of to remove the nail.
This was in October on 2011. They are just now getting to work on his eye.
It is real iffy if he will ever see out of his eye again.
He told me that he thinks he will because he sees rainbows through it now.
Nail guns are very dangerous even with protective measures
