Brian,
Torque specs are for the studs.  It depends on the quality and size of your
fasteners.  ARP studs get tightened down more than stock....  The idea is
to get enough pre-load on them that they stretch "just enough."   The head
being aluminum should not have any effect on the torque required.
You should be able to find valve lash specs on the cam mfgr's web site.
There is an adjustment required when using 1.5 rockers, *IIRC,* it is to
increase the clearance by a factor of 1.5/1.3 =   1.15. Works out to be
about 3-4 thou. Vizard walks you through it in the yellow book,
unfortunately I can't get to my copy right at the moment.
