You need a nominal 3 PSI. If your fuel pressure is too high, the pump 
will overwhelm the float valves, and cause flooding or overflow. Most of 
the major auto parts stores either sell, or sometimes loan you a 
pressure/vacuum gauge that will allow you to measure your fuel pump 
pressure.
