Sorry, I finally gave up and punched the pins back into the bonnet hinge=
=20
mounting plate.  Although they may not be original, as David suggests,=20
they have the look of originality because they are placed the same on=20
both sides.  If you look closely at your hinges, there would be four=20
small holes, two larger holes centered between the bolt slots, and two=20
smaller holes - 1 mm or less - off center forward on one side and=20
backward on the other.  If these smaller holes are not there, then David=
=20
is probably right.

The pins and holes are very small so they are not only hard to match,=20
but also would bend easily and no longer fit at all.  My guess is that=20
anyone who had trouble with them would just take them out as I did.
