We have lots of fun and excitement coming up this 2022 seasonwith the 11th =

As you can see we added another race to the mix.=C2=A0 This is something th=

us at VSCDAevents with Grattan being the constant for end of season awards=
.=C2=A0 We will expand our traditional best 2 of 3races to now include best=
2 of 4 this year as a trial run.=C2=A0 The best opportunity for non-VSCDA =
raceswould be before Grattan (Mid-August) and does not conflict with other =
VSCDAraces.=C2=A0 2022 will be our first year oftrying this variation and w=
e will start with VRG=E2=80=99s Schenley Park Race inPittsburgh, PA tentati=
vely July23-24.=C2=A0Our Pennsylvania friends have joined us over the past =
several years,along with Dave Kessinger sponsoring SMRS again this year is =

Donna Mae is a PA legend in many ways andprobably can be summed up in three=
words =E2=80=9CSassy Girl Racer=E2=80=9D.=C2=A0 Donna Mae was the first wo=
man in SCCA historyto win an overall National Championship, which she did i=
n 1963 driving a pink HP(948cc) Bug Eye Sprite. SMRS is alive and well in 2=
022 and we will continue the funon and off the track with our traditional S=
pridget Paddock, Exclusive Races, JointLunches, Awards, Good Comradery and =
Safe Wheel to Wheel Racing=20
The Driver=E2=80=99s Committee has generously compiled driver issuesfrom 20=
21.=C2=A0 As your Group 2Representative I am compiling and streamlining tho=
se results for our review.=C2=A0 This will allow us to improve safety by be=
ingaware of mistakes made so they can be avoided in the future.=C2=A0 I wil=
l issue these results before the end ofJanuary.=20

e would invite them to join us at VSCDA
events with Grattan being the constant for end of season awards. We w=
ill expand our traditional best 2 of 3
