Try an 'Impact Driver'. Mostly people now know them as powered tools
but the original tool is still on the shelves. I've known them be
called 'Impact Texas Driver' but being a UK person.... Amazon,
Toolstation and Screwfix all sell them. Also, a very useful tool when
removing the rear brake drum when the DPO has put the retaining screw in
too tight!

Stay well,

Guy R Day

I agree with Daniel. I would heat the nut and then soak the bolt
threads with penetrating oil (Liquid Wrench) a few times a day, put a
wrench on it and tap it with a hammer while hot, don't slam it though,
don't want to break the bolt. It will eventually come off.

I used to have a tool the you put a socket on and when you hit it with a
hammer it rotated the socket just a bit. Can't remember what it was
called though.

Any one have a secret for getting the stupid 1/2 inch clamp bolt out of
the top of the suspension? Trying to install new bushings and the clamp
bolt is stuck in the shock arm end.

  Thanks
  Larry
