Shocks, Again

Folks,

Dad is out of town.  So, he asked if I would forward this inquiry.  His 
Tiger has Koni's on the front, and possibly original shocks on the back 
(they are black, certainly not orange).  He feels he needs new shocks for 
the back and wants to know which: Koni air, Koni gas (newer?, or is this 
what most people have), KYB gas (much lower price, but fronts are not 
short enough), or Spax.  Best description of car use: sporting/spirited 
street driving.
