I can comment on the oil filter adapter. Ford Motorsports has model M-6880-A50,
which is a right angle oil filter adapter that takes a standard FL1 filter, or
the smaller FL400 (Taurus, etc.). This is very similar to an adapter used in
early Econoline vans, that has also been installed on some Tigers. No hoses.
It's one piece. They say it looks like it would fit nicely, but there have been
differing reports as to whether you can install it without lifting or lowering
the engine a bit (Meaning you have to move the engine a bit to put it in, then
return it to the original position.). One fellow on the net had a damaged
M-6880-A50 adapter, and reported that it looked like it could be installed
without moving the engine, and he had a new one on order. He has yet to report
success or failure actually installing the good part. Are you out there, Steve?
I would like to put one of these in, but I'm not about to spend the $50 if I
have to attack my motor mounts right now.

There is also a low profile filter that can be screwed directly onto the stock
location. It's a Fram PH3512 or NAPA 1335. You have to install the standard
threaded nipple on the block that's missing from Tiger engines.
