It is easier to fake a Shelby than a Tiger. The stamped "code" is the
original VIN number on the frame. I have seen chicanery with the K code
stamps, and I guarantee
you it exists with the Shelby racers that have been hit hard. A lot of them
have Taiwanese stamped replacement panels!!! Again...take the stamped VIN
number weld it in to another car and do it right,  and you have a Shelby
Mustang.
Just as long as you tell the next owner,  if you sell it, it  was wrecked and
we had to do a lot of work to save it.
