Brake booster questions

        A while back , there was some discussion on power brake boosters.

        Seems there was a company ( maybe more than one ? ) that offered
remote power brake boosters that could replace the Sunbeam unit, though
they weren't similar in appearance.

        My questions:

                1)      What company (companies ) offer these boosters  ? 

                2)      Any recommended part numbers ?

                3)      Do they offer applications that fit other vehicles ?

                4)      Anyone have any comments on suitability,
performance, longevity, cost, etc. for these units ?
