Just got through replacing clutch master and slave with new and
silicone. Found a few tricks, for those who are going to do this. I
started out looking for someone who would take my leaky units and sleeve
them with a stainless liner, so I wouldn't have to do this again (?)
Best I could find wanted to do brass (?) and didn't know about "honing".
Figured that wasn't a good source.

Any recommendations on material, procedure, source, price, is this
worthwhile?

Since Lucas has taken over Girling, it is "homogulating" replacements to
be as universal as posssible. Couldn't use new "equivalent" master
push-rod, and the rubber boots are pretty big. The new top is plastic
(like brake m/c). It won't be long before it's only barely functionally
equivalent, so a more permanent fix to a system that is not too robust
may be desireable.
