     '(Nustang HiPo)'

Is that some type of conversion like an Alger?

Bob,

You are right that you must "push" the pulley back from a "normal" water
Ford pump, to line up the pulley/belt system, but that's to the 5.16
dimension in the manual. You can buy pumps from Sunbeam Specialties and
Edelbrock (Nustang HiPo) that are already correctly spaced. My question
invloved a suggestion that the hub be moved back even further, to allow
the fan to have more of it's back-side out of the shroud.

The question was, "If you move it further back than stock Tiger,
wouldn't machining of the pump shaft support be necessary, and where are
there crank and generator pulleys that will line up with a fan pulley
closer than the 5.16 inch stock Tiger dimension?"
