The Association of Rootes Car Clubs-ARCC
Is staging a special rally for all affiliated clubs to mark the millenium.
SATURDAY 5 AND SUNDAY 6 AUGUST,---2000
BLENHEIM PALACE, WOODSTOCK, OXFORDSHIRE.
Date and venue are being announced now so clubs and individuals can take this
event into account when planning their own events
It is hoped that this event will inspire the largest turnout ever of all makes
and ages of vehicles produced by the Rootes Group, with a large presence from
the non - UK Rootes car clubs !
The SUNBEAM TIGER OWNERS CLUB -(STOC) fully supports this event and hopes to
use it not only for their NATIONAL EVENT
But as springboard for a 10 day TOUR OF EUROPE , linking up with sunbeam
alpine /tiger clubs in France, Germany and Switzerland.
The RALLY at BLENHEIM PALACE (one of the most beautiful stately homes in
England and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill)
Should attract up to 1000 cars with a Tiger participation of approximately 100
.
So make a date in your diary now and plan on attending what will be the
largest gathering of Rootes cars in history .Plan to bring your car (its not
as expensive as you think and saves on hire car charges) and take part in the
TIGER TOUR OF EUROPE.
