Many thanks to those that responded in respect of the Millennium Posting. I
am currently looking at costing options for the Californian Coast / Eastern /
Midwest shipping exercise.

I would like to thank all those that have responded to me personally asking
for costings in respect of the Millennium Tour.

If you are on the Midwest or Eastern seaboard the cost of shipping your Tiger
should be relatively cheap in comparison to hiring a car.

For those of you in California the cost will be more expensive because there
is no roll-on roll-off facility - this means that your cars will need to be
shipped via container. However container costs can be affordable dependent on
numbers of cars i.e. six cars per container. To give you a rough indicator
shipping via container from the Californian coast will cost you approximately
$1000 per car return.

Costs from Midwest and Eastern seaboard could be considerably cheaper because
you have the advantage of using roll-on roll-off connections - before you cry
"gosh my Tiger is sacred to me!" it is important that you recognise that not
only Jaguar but Rolls Royce transport their cars on roll-on roll-off
facilities.

Look out for further information on this subject at a later date.

David
