You broke the rules. The original question rejected any change to the fan and
denigrated the concept of adding an overflow bottle as "not original".
I did both of those (used the Ford 6 blade aluminum made in Canada) and a small
overflow kit that actually fits between the expansion tank and the radiator. I
no longer leave embarrassing green stains on other peoples driveway, or loose
precious coolant, so I agree with your recommendations, but you avoided the
"rules" of the question".
