Ron,

The Edelbrock HI-Po aluminum pump EDE-8442, for the "K" block already has a set
back of casting to hub of 5.16 inches. I guess this matches the Manual, but not
your "corrected" figure published by AE/TE.  If I ever have to take my original
pump off, I'm going to measure it.   It is a high performance pump and sells for
a dear  $150.  You can get a polished one (8847) for "only"  $239!  You can, of
course, replace the hub with your Tiger hub, but I here that the friction fit
betweeen the shaft and is no longer as stong if you do this.  Maybe an "Urban
Folklore Tale"?  I presume you have made the "adjustments" to the TE/AE
recommendations, and measured pulley alignment.  I wonder how accuratly that
measurment can be made?  Would you re-adjust your pulley hub if it weren't
"right on"?
