There you go again. Larry,

Once again you have proved that heredity is more important than "book larnin'".
You have developed the long sought "FOREVER" brake linings.  Imagine, never,
ever having to replace pads or shoes.  Maybe not even rotors of drums.  Just as
you have discovered, all that we really needed to do is to soak the pads and
shoes in brake fluid (Girling LMA, of course) and they will swell.  Periodic
soaking would maintain original thickness forever, and you'd never wear them
out.  Of course, if you do it to much, you may get the units thicker than
original, and not be able to put them back in.  On the other hand, if you do it
too much, you may go blind.
