All,
Sent this in HTML the other day, didn't see it in the digest mailing and
received no responses, so I'm trying aging with plain text. Here goes
again...

I just delivered my "basket case" Tiger to Jeff Lilly Restoration in San
Antonio, Texas last weekend. The car was mostly disassembled at a shop near
my former residence in western NY, where it had sat idle since I moved 14
months ago. Since Jeff has not restored a Tiger before and didn't have the
benefit of having his staff document the disassembly, I'm hoping to find a
couple Tiger owners in the greater San Antonio area who would be willing to
make their cars available for reference as my project progresses. (I
promise, no distructive examinations)
I'm in Houston and will be making regular weekend visits to the shop, but
nothing would help as much as being able to see first hand how things were
supposed to look as original. If you'd be a willing participant a time or
two in the next 6-8 months, I would be greatly indebted, as would my Tiger.
I'm sure you'd get a kick out of seeig the projects in his shop, including a
1929 schoool bus!

Beyond that, I'm looking for advice on some performance enhancements. I'll
do some surfing for information online, but if you have particular
experience with the following or know where to find out, please get in touch
with me directly.I'm intersted in streetable modifications for occasional
9+1/2 tenths recreational autocross and road course lap events, including:
    a.. Vented front brake conversion
    b.. Rear disc conversions
c.. Improved cooling (radiator & elec fans?) for HIGH HP 289
    d.. Suspension refinements
    e.. Structural reinforcements
    f.. Steering geometry fixes
    g.. Others worth considering
I've had this car for about ten years and it sure will feel great to have it
done and done right!
