Hey, guys:
I've got a friend who is working on his Tiger's transmission. It is a late
Mk1and he is needing some rather obscure info. He's had a speedometer
problem for years now and has traced to a stripped out speedometer drive
gear in the transmission on the output shaft. The gear that was in the
tranny was nylon and found to have the teeth stripped off of it. He is
trying to match up a gear but needs to know how many teeth the original
speedo drive gear has on it. He has found a metal gear but is not sure if
it has the correct number of teeth. BTW, the tranny is the HEH-E close
ratio unit. Any help would be appreciated.
