Hello. I would address you by name, but it doesn't appear anywhere in your E-
mail.

This is in response to your questions about Tiger wheels. It was clear in your
original post, and now in this latest one, that your are not really sure what
wheels you have. Perhaps the following will assist you.

Although the 5-spoke 13-inch Cragar SS wheels were made to fit Sunbeams, they
were not genuine "LAT" wheels. Cragar never made any wheels for Rootes; only
the spinners for the LAT 70 wheels.

There were two styles of LAT wheels for Tigers, the LAT-70 (of which there
were 3 versions), and the LAT-9 (sometimes referred to a "pie mags" because
the 4 spokes look like pieces of pie).

The manufacturer of the LAT-9s is not known for certain, but is thought to
have been the same company that made Corvair wheels sold by "Cyclone Sales."
These wheels were 5.0 X 13, and had the Tiger head cast in the center hub.
They have no spinners, and are pretty rare.

The LAT 70 wheels were cast by Schroder Engineering, and are marked "SRC 1300"
on the back side. They were 5.5 X 13, had 8 spokes, and a center hub with a
fake bolt-on 3-prong spinner. The spinner was made by Cragar, but the Cragar
logo was omitted from the center and a Tiger decal was applied there instead.
Three versions of the LAT 70s were produced, differing only in the size and
shape of the center hub (the spinner was also smaller for the 2nd version).

Sunbeam Specialties is currently offering a reproduction version of the 1st-
run LAT-70s, available in widths of 5.5 and 6.0 inches. They also offer
replacement spinner decals, and spinners for 1st- and 3rd-run LAT 70 hubs.

The "Book of Norman" has the answers to all your questions. If you don't have
a copy, perhaps you know someone that does.

Hope this helps.
