I just purchased a pair of these wheels. The brand is "Miniator". They are
manufactured in the UK. They are beautiful and I couldn't be happier.
I was expecting the problem you described and ordered the wheel spacers from
Rick ahead of time.
Guess what. Don't need them. The center hub is manufactured in such away as to
sit inside the rear drum flange. I too experienced a huge hassle with VB's
customer service. I was not willing to accept the wheels being shipped until
they could provide me with the wheel offset measurement. This took 5 phone
calls to resolve.
At the same time I was talking with Rick and Shelley about the minilites they
have in stock. I have spent close to $2000.00 with Rick and Shelley in the
last 6 months and have found them to be very helpful.
With the significant difference in price I chose the imitations.
