I sent my clock to the rebuilders in Ossing, NY. They
had a very knowledgeable person who knew what he was doing.
They can convert any positive ground clock to negative.
I believe he said that if you hooked up a positive ground
clock in a negative ground car, the clock would run
backwards. Just like a time machine.
He also had a very limited supply of new faces, hands,
etc.
I believe you'll find them listed in Hemmings under
instrument rebuilding services. Look for the one doing
Smith's instruments in Ossing.
