They were owned by Super Shops. Mallory had been operating profitably
when Super Shops went under. To avoid being liquidated as an asset of
their parent, the operation was offered for sale. Mr Gasket stepped in
to save the day, sparing a lot of jobs and Mallory's good name. Even
though Mr. Gasket also owns Accel, they stated (at the time) the two
would operate separately and leave Mallory in Carson City. Good to see
they kept their word.
