Bob,

Gee Bob, if we told you it wouldn't be a secret any more. Actually, this is
just one of several "secrets" that you will need to discover on the way to
becoming a full fledge British car buff. But I think you are luck if you
can find a soft top or "drop head" cover that still has the instructions on
the inside of it. I take it yours is no longer there. You really need
someone to actually demonstrate the procedure I think; one of those "A
picture is worth a thousand words." kind of thing, you know. Go to club
meeting where there will be other LBCs and ask one of the owners to show
you the "secret". It'll probably cost you a pint or a quart (but mind your
Ps & Qs).
