Picked up the June 1999 issue of Drive! newsrag at a local parts store
yesterday. On page 8 is an article about the historic car races coming up
at the Marine Corps Air Station at Tustin, CA, on June 11-13. There is a
picture with the article. Four cars racing in a row. In the front is a
Tiger with the number 64 on the hood. The Tiger is being followed by a
Cobra, a Vette and a Shelby Mustang. The caption on the article says:
"The 2.2 mile road course on the Tustin Marine Air Station field will echo
with the thunder of high powered road racers (like the Sunbeam Tiger, Cobra,
'Vette and Shelby shown here....."
Neat to see the Tiger out in front. So, who's driving it???
