The kits that Rick has are repair kits that have all of the hardware and
materials to replace the OEM flapper doors. It includes new plastic doors,
springs, and the rollers. The installation of this kit requires the
temporary removal of the black molded housings from the Tiger.
At present, there are no kits that allow vent installation from scratch.
This is a very nice modification but requires a set of housings and some
special sheetmetal and control hardware from a donor Series V. I wrote an
STOA Tech tip on this retrofit several years ago including reworking the
sheetmetal under the air grilles.
