Mike & Kirt,

The chrome headlight rim (eyebrows) come from the Hillman Minx and some other 
Rootes cars. They were never stock on any Alpines and Tigers although many 
people will try to tell you the were an option. Yes, I see many of them on 
Alpines & Tigers in the UK, I would think because of the large amount of 
Hillmans sold over there.
