Subject: the truth

let me start off of by making it clear that i sell POR-15 in southern
calif. if you check in Hemmings under materials you will find our ads.
i am not doing this to sell you guys a thing, there are distributors
throughout america to do so. i am sunbeam guy that will help with info
if i can. i will answer questions (short ones) on how some of the
products from POR-15 works. By that i mean the gas tanks sealers and
the rust protectant sealers. i do not know all of the products since i
specialize in just a few, sorry. i read a disturbing note from a fellow
about his gas tanks. here's what to do. have them boiled out or clean
them yourself with POR-15's MarineClean. then use POR-15's Metal Ready
for etching purposes. rinse with clear water from the hose for about 15
seconds and pour out. let dry or stick a hair dryer in the hole to
hasten drying time. Now! the way to cool thing. pour POR-15 gas tank
sealer and rotate around until coated inside. pour out the excess and
let dry. or if all else fails follow the instructions on the can.
Por-15 seals the inside of the tank. i have sold this product to hot rod
and boat guys for years and they have never come back with a complaint.
if and when you try this and it works you ought to try the metal sealer
for frame rails, suspension etc. you ain't seen nothin' yet. mike in
san diego.
