I pulled mine from below 14 years ago. A piece of cake.
3 hrs from assembling the picker, torching the exhaust
apart, dropping the cross member, lowering engine trans
to floor, rolling chassis backwards on the rear wheels,
etc, disassembling the picker, and done.
2 tips:
(1) put a plug in the end of the trans to keep any fluid
from leaking.
(2) Replace the clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing,
pressure plate, and resurface/replace the flywheel.
Do it now while you can do it easily.
