You should, at least, have the holes in the floor that the sheet metal screws
that
held the clips went. Trunk partition (floor over battery) can be built from
plywood and covered with pebble grain. Dzus fasteners are available at aircraft
surplus stores. They receiving Dzus brackets should be on the body.

There WAS a limited tool bag, containing limited tools. Their supply is even
more
limited. A single cast wrench has sold for over $40 on e-bay. And there were
special size combinations and markings, as well.

The original did not come with a glove box door, so you either have had one
added,
or it is a complete replacement dash with their own design box door.

> Is the throttle cable a reliable?

It is 100% reliable, up until it breaks. {9->. Actually, since the "cable" is
a
rod, it is very reliable, providing the pedal stops and throttle stops are
adjusted to prevent cable tension from foot pressure after the throttles are
wide
open. A 4 barrel manifold requires a longer cable, and a different cable end
mount at the carburetor if a high rise manifold is used. These are available
from
Sunbeam Specialties, Los Gatos. Get to know them. Curt, at Classic Sunbeam is
a
reliable source, as well. Victoria British makes a pretty color catalog. That
is
the only thing they have that you should ever own. (Personal experience and
opinion)

If it's developed cracks in the high stress areas, it definitely needs
substantial
upgrading and repair.

> Are there any weak links in the electrical system?

No! All links are equally strong, or weak, as the case may be. The sole
exceptions are the distributor, generator, starter, and starter solenoid made by
Ford. These are good. The rest you'll have to live with, as they are typical
Lucas English design, with two fuses. Adding accessories that take power from
the
hot side of the ignition on switch should be limited to stock attachments,
radios,
and remote relay additions.

> Does anybody have thoughts on rear traction masters?

Traction Master is, again, making new weld-on and bolt-on designs similar to the
original LAT offerings, but with polyurethane bushings. I am using the
bolt-on's
and find them very beneficial, although this is 60's suspension technology, so
is
the rest of the car. Substantially better systems are available for serious
racers and Auto-X'rs. Dan Walters makes a fine new design that is easy to use.
In my own personal opinion, the weld-on design is not a good choice because of
the
limited, low strength area to weld to, and the unequal length between the T-M
arm
and the front half of the spring, both of which are trying to guide the axle
along
different paths.
