After Jay's experience with door painting off the car. I would not recommend it.
His door alignment problem was all caused by paint on the door hinge and body
making fit impossible.  The factory assembled them and aligned them first, so
there never was nay paint there!

Those door stops are a bear.  I had broken hold-open springs and a new arm.  
Took
one look at that "Rivet" and knew it was a big job just to grind off the upset 
to
remove it.   Then I'd have to replace it with a bolt and nut, since I knew of no
source of the rivet, nor means to upset it after installation.

So, I use my knee. {8-<
