I'm all ready to apply the WIPER, PANEL, and LIGHT
lettering to my MK1a. I even have the PANEL and LIGHT
chunk of spliterized dash board off of Bill Cartus'
car (WIPER was lost). I measured 7/16 inch from the
bottom of the switch hole to the bottom of the
imaginary line that the lettering would sit on. (Per
Bill's original - I think - dash). I assumed the same
7/16 spacing on the WIPER lettering, however if I look
in the Book of Norman, WIPER looks to be about even
with the "BLOWER" metal tab lettering. So I yanked
"BLOWER" off my Alpine to check the alignment and it
is not even close. Is WIPER closer to the switch hole
than LIGHT and PANEL? Can somebody please measure the
distance from the bottom of the WIPER switch hole to
the bottom of the lettering for me?
