Chris,

A careful reading of your e-mail (above) suggests that the "Alpine 260" belongs 
on ALL B947 series, and then states your MkIA has Powered by Ford 260".

A careful reading of TBON (p13) reveals that Norman is SOLELY addressing the 
African Violets, not all MkI's, although he does mix in the US amber turn 
signal statement, which
could mislead a quick reading.

My MkI, as well as all the other US versions, should have the "Powered by Ford 
260", as I am sure the other owners will confirm.
