          Jim, there is a good discussion of the 347 vs 351w in Super Ford 
,july 99,that talks specifically about the advantages and disadvantages of 
the 347.It also talks about the oil consumption problems and location of the 
piston pin ring relative to the oil ring. If you cant find the article ill be
