Von,

I haven't got the car for you, but it hardly seats anyone comfortably in
the back, anyway.

But I do have a story to tell you.

When I was a young man, with a new Jag XK120M, I used to look in the
newspapers and see the most desirable 2 seat sports cars for sale with
the statement "Must sell. Getting Married!"

After seeing enough of those, I was totally convinced that I would NOT
get married, ever! Too much to sacrifice. Well, I met Linda (by that
time I had my 356 Porsche) and fell in love. I was up nights worrying
about what to do. A light finally came on in my head. I had to have a
car to go to work, and this being a sprawling metropolis, with no
reasonable public transportation, my new wife would need a car to either
work, or shop, or continue school, or live while I was at work.

So I decided then and there that there was no valid reason she should
not have the 'family' car (a relatively new '54 Ford 4 door 'hard-top
convertible'), and I'd have the sports car. We didn't need two "family"
cars.

42 years later it's still that way, with 2 kids and 5 grand kids. She's
had the Family car, and I had the Sports Car, BTW, One of her "Family"
cars, after the kids had grown, was a '66 Mustang "K" convertible with
power everything and air conditioning!

You can too have your cake and eat it too, with the right mind set. See
the mantra next to my signature.

Good luck,

Steve
