Dan,

Some BTDT on this subject. I built my own venturi tube balance kit for my dual
SU MG-TD in the early 50's, as the recommended listening with a rubber tube was
lousy. Both carbs had a bolt-on venturi with a glass manometer "U" tube
mounted between them, and filled with gasoline - so it would move easily and
not hurt anything if sucked into the engine on a badly synched set. Worked of,
but a pain to bolt on.

I bought the first Unisyn form Vilhem Hahn (SP?) in the 50's and couldn't have
been happier. Easy to use, sensitive, and worked on the SU Jag, the Solex 356,
the Weber 911S, and the Stromberg Alpine.

Probably still have it in the original box, if Jay hasn't "acquired" it and is
using it on his Alpine dual Webers. That's OK, because it wont function on 2
or 4 barrel carbs, and it too small for dual quads on a Tiger, and useless on
F.I. Now, if I ever get a set of 4 dual Webers for the Tiger..............

My recommendation is to get one for any car that meets it's size and function
limitations, and throw away that rubber tube.

Steve
