Try enclosing the URL in some brackets, like this:

<http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=465265701&r=0&t=0>

this is just copied and pasted from the "location" line on Netscape
(similar line on M$oft) that allows URL change, and displays current URL
location.  You may have to change preferences for this important item to
show up.
