i may be wrong but couldnt teh same symptoms of a flat lobe be a over tightened
rocker arm? it would also cause a bad idle. i remember in the first post that
was a cause of the loss of compression. i have adjusted rockers many ways but
my best results come from doing it while the egine is running. just back off
of the lifter until it starts to tap and then tighten it 3/4 turn after the
tapping stops. i would try this before i pulled the cam.
