I'm sending this to the list in hopes the individuals that were interested in
a direct read temp gauge read it. The temp gauge is offered by Mooneyes in
the 2001 catalog on page 13. The gauges come with 3/8 inch N. P. T. male
fitting. They come in 2.25 and 1.5 inch diameters and are either liquid or
dry filled. On the same page is a picture of a thermostat housing with a port
to screw the gauge into.
This should be an excellent way to compare actual temp. to indicated temp on
the factory gauge. It should not be difficult to make a thermostat housing to
accept the gauge if Mooneyes does not have one suitable for the Tiger.
