Chris,
According to "The A to Z of Sports Cars" by  Mike Lawerence;

CONVAIR
"A fiberglass special body maker which essayed a kit car in 1958. It
used a ladder frame, BMC series A engine, and a Minor (or A35) running
gear and Convair's not particularly handsome body. The venture ended
within a year".

Unfortunately I do not have any personal knowledge on the make and there
is no picture for me to scan in so I cannot provide any more info.
