To All Members of the Sunbeam Community:
Thank you for all the kind words on my recent acquiring of the Sunbeam
Tiger Le Mans Coupe, ADU180B. What an honor, as well as responsibility, it is.
As
its new keeper I feel a strong obligation to respect and restore its
heritage.
Over the decades 180B has gone through many changes from its original
configuration. In addition to returning the car to its previous glory I'm
trying to document it's running changes; what was done, when, by whom, and
for what purpose. To that end I am soliciting for information you may have
regarding 180B. I have most of the "published" information. I am seeking,
in particular, early history, ownership, competition, photo documentation,
original bits & spares, etc.
All original documents received will be treated with the utmost care and
will be promptly returned, unless indicated for my possession. Any assistance
you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.
