That was my reply and, I must admit, was an exaggeration.
I believe there are still a number of choices in 13" diameter, just not many
that adequately bridge the gap between cheap replacements for older economy
cars and the stuff that is available for Showroom Stock and Improved Touring
race cars (DOT race tires). Some of the options for middle of the road
include BF Goodrich S-rated Radial TA, Bridgestone Potenza RE92 (H rated
185/70 for $50 apiece!) and Kumho ECSTA V700 (V rated), according to the Tire
Rack ads.
