Jim, now this may sound funny, but the Mercedes has a Real problem with
brake dust and crud on the wheels.

Mercedes designed for the hot air and dust to come out the spokes of the
wheel. Results is one drive and the wheels are really dirty.

Leave it for a week, and it bakes on, and takes an hour of hard
scrubbing to get off. Leave it 2 weeks, and you get the idea.

I have tried everything, all the cleaners, etc, etc.

Wife bough a Shark Steam Cleaner for around the house cleaning, and I
tried it on the Mercedes wheels, that were really bad. It worked, with
no hard scrubbing.

I had LAT-70 wheels, tried everything, and only bead blasting would take
the crud off. I didn't have the steam cleaner at the time.
