Ed Esslinger has written a great article, for TigersUnited.com, on an
item he has developed. He has entitled it:

"Lucas, Prince of the Intermittent Windshield Wiper"

or

"How to Make a Real One".

Ed has designed a variable speed windshield wiper solid state electronic
control for the Tiger. It is on a printed circuit board, housed, has a
variable control (either on the unit or remote), and can be hidden away.
(Labels with arrows to location available for Concourse Events.(9-)

The main advantage, aside from the obvious utility in rain, or light
mist, is to protect your wiper motor, and windshield, from inadvertent
damage should the ignition be turned off while the wipers are still
switched on. What, you never forget?

No problem - YET - but when you turn it back on again with a dry, dirty
windshield you can grind streaks in the glass or burn out your motor if
the blades are stuck. Expensive repair, in any event.

Ed's article is tucked away in a proper home under the Technical Tips
heading, "Restoration Tips". Ed's is the last (latest) article on the list.
